Changes during editing

During the first and second drafts of my short film I noticed some minor problems however they were likely to cost me marks on my final product. These include continuity errors, drastic differences in quality and very crude key-masking. Although the key-frame masking was not implemented into the final product it was a serious problem during editing as it was past my skill level. You can see the shot that I would have been required to mask in the beginning of the third act during draft one where A New Man walks behind Brian to sit at the dinning table. It seems simple but this was a problem I was unable to solve.

Reason for revisions

The reason I have revised my computer edits of my ancillary article is simply because I didn't feel that the product I had designed would have followed the conventions of a professional magazine. This is a rabbit hole a fell down during my AS year and I was determined not to do it again so I went for a more simplistic design trying to reflect magazines such as Empire.

Issues with filming 

During the past few months I have been helping many of my fellow students with their own coursework which has ultimately left me with very little time to complete my own work. This is a regrettable turn of events but it has shown me how hard it is to organise multiple actors and locations, therefore I will now be streamlining my acting choices to only a single actor. Oliver Steggles will now be holding the weight of performance solo. I hope this pays off and that when I start filming the whole project will come together.
Filming should proceed as normal only with one actor, all sets and scenes should remain the same and only the narrated dialogue should alter.
